Welcome to Majestic Farm Nightmare
Majestic Farm Nightmare is the ideal embodiment of an American Show Pony. He stands alone as the only American Show Pony in Australia.
His ancestry can be traced back to the original founders of modern Thoroughbred lines of the 1600’s-early 1700’s to the Godolphin Arabian, Darley Arabian and Byerley Turk.
His Shetland ancestry can be traced back to many foundation registered British Stud Book ponies including: Odin #32, Jack #118, Lord Violet #122 and many other Londonderry bred ponies.
Nightmare is a powerful combination of structural balance, charisma, expressive motion and willing temperament. He first caught our eye in the photographer’s photo gallery from the 2011 USA Congress Show. He was sashed Reserve National Grand Champion Junior Stallion as a yearling.
After following his show career online for another 3 years, where he amassed an enviable 15 USA National titles, we were able to secure this extraordinary stallion for importation to Australia. Nightmare arrived in Australia in December 2014 and immediately began stud duties.
Over the years he has increasingly proven himself as a reputable sire covering a broad range of mares from Miniature Horses, Welsh Ponies, Cobs, to Riding Ponies and Warmbloods. No matter the breed of mare, Nightmare has proven to be a sire of remarkable prepotency, consistently siring foals of superior motion, structure, exceptional temperaments and aristocratic quality
Nightmare has progeny all over Australia and those that are showing are winning Led classes, Classic Head and Best Trot right up to State and National level.
With his eldest progeny soon to start competing in driving, expect the impact of Nightmare as a sire of merit in Australia to be significant. We still have a few years before we see the first progeny, that have been bred for pony dressage and lead rein ponies, to make their mark. Despite the mere boundary of time, we believe that future for Nightmare to be abounding in limitless possibilities.
An incredible show horse with an enviable show record;
